Family Solicitor – Aylesbury

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join our well‑established high‑street practice in Aylesbury. You will manage your own caseload, providing practical, client‑focused advice across a broad spectrum of family law matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on divorce, separation and financial remedy cases.
• Handle private children matters, cohabitation disputes and agreements.
• Draft and negotiate pre‑ and post‑nuptial, civil partnership and collaborative family law agreements.
• Deliver family mediation services where appropriate.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years post‑qualification experience in family law.
• Proven ability to manage an independent caseload.
• Strong client‑care focus and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Commercial awareness and proactive approach to work.

Required skills

• Legal drafting and negotiation.
• Knowledge of divorce, financial remedy and private children law.
• Family mediation techniques.
