Family Solicitor – Kent (Gillingham/Canterbury)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer (3+ years PQE) to join our growing team in Kent, covering Gillingham and Canterbury. The role provides exposure to a broad family law caseload, including divorce, financial remedy, domestic abuse, private children matters and care/adoption proceedings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse family law caseload from initial client contact through to resolution.
• Handle divorce, financial remedy, domestic abuse, private children and care/adoption matters.
• Meet deadlines and ensure timely progression of cases.
• Provide clear, sensitive communication with clients.
• Undertake advocacy work where required.

Required profile

• Qualified Family Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong case‑management abilities and confidence handling sensitive client matters.
• Proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Advocacy experience is desirable; Children Law Panel membership is advantageous.
