Female Support Worker – Maternity Cover (Morecambe)

About the role

We are seeking a Female Support Worker to provide maternity cover within our learning disability services in Morecambe. You will deliver person‑centred support to adults with learning disabilities and autism, helping them enjoy a high quality of life through daily activities and community involvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide person‑centred support to adults with learning disabilities and autism.
• Assist service users with daily living activities and personal care.
• Facilitate participation in community and leisure activities, including volunteering and walking.
• Collaborate with families, professionals and colleagues to deliver coordinated care.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, day and sleep‑in shifts.

Required profile

• Female candidates only, as per role requirement.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Commitment to person‑centred, respectful care.
• Willingness to undertake full training and work towards a QCF Diploma.
