Female Support Worker – Relief (Full‑time, Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, caring Female Support Worker to provide person‑centred support to twelve service users with learning disabilities and complex needs in Wythenshawe. This relief position offers a variety of activities, from outings to the zoo to swimming sessions and church visits.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day personal and practical support to service users.
• Facilitate community outings and recreational activities.
• Follow individual care plans and promote independence.
• Use the company app to pick up shifts and access service information.
• Travel to the service using public transport, ensuring punctuality.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience working with people with learning disabilities.
• Warm, person‑centred approach and ability to work flexibly.
• Female gender is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
