F‑Gas & Plumbing Lecturer / Assessor (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking experienced F‑Gas and Plumbing Lecturers or Assessors to deliver high‑quality teaching and assessment for apprentices and learners across the UK. The position is home‑based with occasional travel within a local area to conduct workplace assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in Plumbing and/or F‑Gas qualifications.
• Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards.
• Coach, mentor and provide constructive feedback to learners.
• Manage own diary and travel within the local area for assessments where required.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or a related qualification.
• Current or recent industry experience in Plumbing and/or F‑Gas, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning or Heat Pumps.
• F‑Gas Category 1 certification (preferred for F‑Gas roles).
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 5 Diploma) and/or assessor qualification (TAQA, A1/D32/D33) – not mandatory for all contracts.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally.
• Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
