Field Account Manager – Trainee (North England & Scotland)

About the role

Join a dynamic eyewear company as a Trainee Field Account Manager covering the North of England to Scotland. You will be responsible for servicing independent opticians, managing existing accounts and driving brand growth across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of optician accounts, presenting collections and supporting decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with design, merchandising, QC and logistics teams to deliver a seamless service.
• Work with the Senior Brand Manager to meet seasonal budgets, growth and profitability targets.
• Plan and optimise travel schedules to maximise territory coverage.
• Identify, target and engage new account opportunities.
• Provide regular sales reports and customer feedback to the head office.
• Handle returns, reporting and attend bi‑annual sales meetings, conferences and exhibitions, including overnight stays.

Required profile

• Confident, positive individual with a passion for people and sales.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to carry sample bags up to 50 lbs.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
