Field Sales Representative – Plymouth & South West

About the role

Flatpay is a fast‑growing European fintech expanding in the UK. The company is building an ambitious sales team to promote its transparent card‑payment solutions to local businesses. This field‑based, full‑time position focuses on meeting merchants, demonstrating the product and growing a profitable territory.

Key responsibilities

• Attend pre‑booked appointments with local businesses to demonstrate Flatpay's payment solutions and convert opportunities into customers.
• Generate your own pipeline through referrals, networking and local prospecting.
• Understand each merchant's needs and recommend the most suitable solution.
• Deliver and install payment terminals for new customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM records.
• Build long‑term customer relationships by delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Share customer feedback and market insights with Sales Development, Marketing and Product teams.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated with resilience to work towards ambitious goals.
• Organised and confident managing your own territory.
• Customer‑focused with a consultative approach to selling.
• Commercially minded with strong problem‑solving abilities.

What we offer

• Commission‑only role with a guaranteed minimum payment of £60,000–£70,000 OTE.
