Field Service Engineer (CNC/Machine Tools)

About the role

Join a leading CNC machine‑tool specialist with over 20 years of experience, providing installation, commissioning and service to clients across aerospace, automotive, medical, oil & gas and heavy engineering sectors. You will work on‑site at customer locations throughout the UK, delivering high‑quality technical support for advanced CNC equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and repair CNC machine tools and automation equipment on customer sites.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic and CNC control faults.
• Work with a variety of CNC control systems, including Heidenhain, Siemens and Fanuc.
• Provide technical advice and training to client personnel as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role in CNC machinery or machine tools.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and a full UK driving licence.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑focused attitude.
