Field Service Engineer – Compressor Maintenance (Full Training)

About the role

Join a century‑old manufacturer of turnkey compressed‑air solutions as a Field Service Engineer. You will be based in Preston and travel across the North West of England, providing service and maintenance on a range of compressor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain compressors, air dryers, pipework and refrigeration units on customer sites.
• Perform routine inspections, fault diagnosis and corrective repairs.
• Respond to on‑call emergencies (one week in seven) and overtime opportunities.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete required paperwork.

Required profile

• Experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar mechanical/electrical role.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Willingness to travel throughout the North West region.
• Valid full UK driving licence.
