Field Service Engineer – Electrical Equipment (Sheffield)

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver electrical service, maintenance and installation of high‑performance automated equipment for a market‑leading OEM. Based in Sheffield, you will travel across the UK and occasional international sites, working with cutting‑edge technology and enjoying strong earning potential.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical service, maintenance and installation of automated equipment at customer sites.
• Travel nationwide (and occasional overseas) to support client installations and repairs.
• Complete site paperwork and provide clear reporting on all work carried out.

Required profile

• Background as a Field Service Engineer or Electrical Engineer.
• Strong electrical knowledge, including 3‑phase fault finding.
• Live commutable to Leicester and willing to travel extensively.

Required skills

• Electrical service and maintenance.

• PLC programming and controls.

• Experience with ABB, KUKA and CNC systems.
