Field Service Engineer - Forklift Equipment

About the role

Jungheinrich, an intralogistics company, is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join its customer service engineering team and cover the DA, ME, TN and CT postcodes. The role involves servicing and maintaining Jungheinrich forklift and material-handling equipment, handling parts stock and providing customer support.

Key responsibilities

• Visit client sites in the area to service, repair and carry out preventative maintenance on a wide range of Jungheinrich material-handling equipment and forklift trucks.
• Manage and control the parts stock.
• Complete service reports and timesheets.

Required profile

• Mechanically or electrically biased engineer from any maintenance or service background, such as general automotive, HGV, mobile plant, forklift or ex-forces military vehicle engineers.
• Full driving licence.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Having worked unsupervised before is a benefit.
