Finance Administrator – Sales Ledger (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Administrator to join our friendly finance team on the outskirts of Banbury, Oxfordshire. The role focuses on the sales ledger and offers a hybrid working pattern, providing a stable, long‑term environment where people are truly valued.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process sales invoices
• Manage and reconcile the sales ledger
• Perform credit control and maintain customer accounts
• Handle the finance inbox and respond to queries
• Produce customer statements and manage rebate administration
• Support the purchase ledger when required
• Reconcile credit card transactions
• Assist with month‑end finance activities
• Contribute to continuous improvements across the finance function

Required profile

• 1–2 years of finance administration experience
• Previous experience working with a sales ledger
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive, organised and reliable approach
• Good Excel and systems skills (Sage experience advantageous but not essential)
