Finance Analyst

About the role

We are partnering with a leading international manufacturing business to recruit a Finance Analyst who will support commercial decision‑making and drive financial performance across the organisation. You will join a collaborative finance team, work with senior stakeholders and gain exposure to a broad range of financial activities in a fast‑paced, global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial analysis and performance reporting to support business decisions.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities through detailed data analysis.
• Support project and capital expenditure reporting.
• Contribute to month‑end reporting while maintaining high standards of financial accuracy.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and reporting.
• Support audit activities, financial controls and compliance requirements.
• Build strong relationships with operational and finance stakeholders across the business.

Required profile

• AAT qualification (or equivalent) with ambition to study towards CIMA or ACCA.
• Previous experience as a Finance Analyst, Assistant Management Accountant or in a similar finance role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across teams.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
