Finance Assistant

About the role

You will support the Regional Finance Manager and Senior Finance Business Partner in delivering finance and admin services for ITV News across multiple regions. The role involves month‑end processing, budget monitoring and ad‑hoc financial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate financial support for ITV Regional News, including month‑end tasks and headcount monitoring.
• Assist with budget and forecast processes, prepare cost analyses and contribute to monthly reporting packs.
• Raise purchase orders, manage freelance contracts and staff overtime payments.
• Coordinate environmental data collection for ITV reporting and certification.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified accountant with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to travel between Bristol, London and Birmingham and meet tight deadlines.
• Well‑organised, proactive communicator eager to learn.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
