Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Finance Business Partner will support the fast‑growing property business in its acquisition and development arm. Reporting into the finance function, you will oversee budgeting, cost tracking and value creation for construction projects while also providing operational support such as procurement and cost‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts.
• Produce financial analysis, insights and commentary for senior management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
• Partner with operational teams to drive performance and inform decisions.
• Identify and implement process, reporting and control improvements.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate competitive pricing.
• Research suppliers and manufacturers to secure cost savings through direct sourcing.
• Analyse development costs across locations and recommend efficiencies.
• Take ownership of the finance function for the development/construction division, including reporting, reconciliations and cost allocation.

Required profile

• Newly qualified or currently studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Strong Excel skills and a genuine interest in data and insight.
• Commercially minded, curious and proactive.
• Confident in building relationships and communicating with non‑finance stakeholders.
• Ambitious individual seeking career progression in a commercially focused environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or progress towards one).

What we offer

• Salary £45,000‑£55,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
• Discretionary bonus.
• Full‑time permanent contract.
• On‑site work 4‑5 days a week, 9:00‑18:00.
