Finance Director

About the role

We are seeking a commercially focused Finance Director to lead the financial strategy, performance and governance of a fast‑growing organisation. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, you will drive profitability, support business growth and provide strategic financial insight across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organisation’s financial strategy, planning and performance management.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning activities.
• Provide strategic financial insight to support business decision‑making and growth initiatives.
• Drive profitability through commercial analysis, financial modelling and performance improvement projects.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital and financial risk management.
• Maintain strong financial controls, compliance and governance frameworks.
• Create and deliver KPI reporting and management information to support operational performance.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Significant senior finance leadership experience, preferably in a multi‑site business.
• Proven expertise in commercial finance, budgeting and forecasting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cash flow, financial controls and business performance.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Advanced financial analysis and modelling capability.

• Power BI or similar reporting tools.
