Finance Executive – Accounts Processing

About the role

Join a rapidly growing legal group as a Finance Executive, supporting the busy finance team in Tewkesbury. This permanent position reports to the Accounts Manager and offers a clear pathway for progression within a positive working culture.

Key responsibilities

• Process payments and receipts through the firm’s internet banking system.
• Perform bank account reconciliations and ensure accurate client account records.
• Assist internal teams in resolving accounting queries and adhere to solicitor’s accounts rules.
• Liaise with banks and suppliers to address general and payment‑related issues.
• Support the Accounts Manager with ad‑hoc financial administration tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in an office environment with a desire to move into finance, or an existing accounting professional.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical ability and the capacity to meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, adaptable to changing business needs.
• Quick learner, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in legal finance or professional services is advantageous but not essential.
