Finance Manager – International Controllership

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing AI‑driven technology business that is expanding internationally. The Finance Manager will own international controllership, intercompany accounting, and compliance across multiple entities, helping to embed automation and AI into finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end reporting, balance‑sheet reconciliations and compliance for all international entities.
• Manage intercompany recharges, loans, settlements, eliminations and maintain intercompany agreements.
• Support transfer‑pricing compliance, maintain documentation and ensure policy alignment.
• Develop and enhance the financial controls framework, perform testing and drive remediation.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors and oversee statutory reporting.
• Drive process improvements in NetSuite, leveraging automation and AI to streamline the close.
• Prepare entity‑level reporting and analytical commentary for senior finance leadership.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• 2–5 years post‑qualification experience in a practice, industry or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong intercompany accounting experience, including recharges, loans and eliminations.
• Knowledge of transfer‑pricing principles and compliance support.
• Experience with financial controls, risk management, SOX‑lite or internal audit frameworks.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
• Interest in automation and AI‑enhanced finance processes.
