About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join a growing business in Manchester. Working closely with the CFO, you will take ownership of financial control, month‑end reporting, investor reporting and development finance while mentoring the finance team.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and develop members of the finance team.
  • Own month‑end financial control and reporting.
  • Review management accounts and provide financial commentary.
  • Prepare investor reports and manage development finance.
  • Partner with operational teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Play a visible role with genuine progression opportunities.

Required profile

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, recently achieved.
  • Strong management accounting and financial control experience.
  • Previous experience mentoring or reviewing colleagues' work.
  • Confident communicator with strong Excel skills.
