Finance Manager – Remote, £50,000-£60,000

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join a £60 m turnover UK division of a large PLC. The role is fully remote with quarterly visits to the North West head office and involves partnering with senior leaders to turn financial data into strategic insight.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly management accounting and commercial analysis to drive profitability and top‑line growth.
• Evaluate business‑unit performance, flag financial risks and support operational turnarounds.
• Report high‑level financial and operational performance directly to the executive board and C‑suite.
• Own the end‑to‑end planning cycle, consolidating P&L, balance sheet and liquidity statements.
• Present annual plans and mid‑year forecasts, highlighting strategic risks and opportunities.
• Conduct scenario analysis and corporate modelling to stress‑test future decisions.
• Partner with senior division directors to steer financial success across assigned sectors.
• Provide analytical guidance for strategic transformation and growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong commercial and strategic thinking.
• Excellent analytical, financial modelling and problem‑solving abilities.
• Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience partnering with leadership teams to support business decisions.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, flexible environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with financial systems and reporting tools.
