Finance Project Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Project Lead to join a growing business on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is ideal for a Credit Manager, AP Manager or a transactional finance professional with experience in finance systems and process improvement who enjoys project‑based work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of a finance system upgrade and associated tools/add‑ons.
• Support wider finance transformation and business improvement initiatives.
• Review existing finance processes and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
• Research and embed best‑practice ways of working across the finance function.
• Monitor project progress, flag risks and ensure successful delivery on time.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance projects, including system implementations, automations and process improvement.
• Strong project‑management and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and proactive problem‑solving approach.

Required skills

• Finance systems implementation experience.
• Process improvement methodology knowledge.
