Financial Accountant – Finance & Treasury

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Fitzrovia, London. Reporting to the Head of Finance Operations and Treasury, you will work within a close‑knit group of eight professionals, handling both accounts receivable and payable functions while supporting broader finance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchases, expenses, inventory and overhead invoices in line with company policies.
• Manage billing cycles, send payment reminders and reconcile supplier and customer statements.
• Perform day‑to‑day financial transactions, including verification, classification, posting and recording of accounts receivable data.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger and conduct other balance‑sheet reconciliations as required.
• Assist with general ledger entries, bank reconciliations and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Contribute to finance‑team projects such as process automation, improvement initiatives and sustainability reporting.
