Financial Accountant

About the role

Join a leading organisation within the healthcare sector as a Financial Accountant in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. The role supports month‑end accounting, general ledger maintenance and provides financial analysis to aid decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Support the month‑end accounting cycle and ensure accurate, timely closing of financial periods.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, fixed asset register and related accounts.
• Assist with statutory reporting and audit processes, providing clear documentation and insights.
• Analyse financial data, prepare reports and commentary to inform organisational decision‑making.
• Partner with operational teams to enhance financial processes, supporting automation and controls.

Required profile

• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with experience in finance teams.
• Qualified or Part‑Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills across organisational levels.
• Proactive, meticulous and able to work independently under pressure with a collaborative attitude.
