Financial Accountant

About the role

The Financial Accountant will lead financial reporting, compliance and analysis for a retail technology organisation. This permanent position is based in Camberley (Chertsey) and works within a structured Accounting & Finance department.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee statutory financial reporting and ensure accurate month‑end close.
• Support the Finance Director with monthly forecasting and compare forecasts to actual results.
• Maintain revenue recognition, cost accruals and inter‑company balance reconciliations.
• Prepare UK charge invoices, calculate sales commissions and perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Attend weekly finance meetings, monthly EMEA finance calls and resolve related queries.
• Maintain and reconcile the balance sheet, verifying assets and liabilities.

Required profile

• Recognised accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA).
• Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance.
• Ability to work effectively in a structured, collaborative environment.

What we offer
