Financial Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Analyst with manufacturing experience to provide accurate reporting, insightful analysis and decision‑support for an engineering and manufacturing business. The role will combine management accounting, FP&A and ERP optimisation to drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, perform month‑end close, post journals and reconcile balances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling and analyse revenue, margins, costs and KPIs.
• Lead Finance input into ERP implementation, data validation, migration, reporting and acceptance testing.
• Maintain financial controls, procedures and compliance, assisting with audits and process improvement.
• Deliver ad‑hoc analysis, modelling and insight for senior leadership and project teams.

Required profile

• Qualified or part‑qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in management accounts, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Background in manufacturing, inventory or cost accounting.
• Experience with ERP implementation and process improvement.
