Financial Controller – Creative Group (London, Hybrid)

About the role

The client is a fast‑growth, private‑equity backed creative group with operations across Europe, North America and the Middle East. Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller will act as the finance function’s right‑hand, overseeing day‑to‑day operations and preparing the business for a future exit.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end month‑end close for all group entities and produce consolidated management accounts.
• Lead, develop and manage the finance team, ensuring timely delivery of month‑end work.
• Prepare statutory accounts and manage relationships with external auditors.
• Oversee banking relationships, cash management and daily treasury activities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and re‑forecasting processes.
• Build and maintain management reporting and financial controls aligned with buyer expectations.
• Play a leading role in financial due‑diligence as the PE exit process approaches.
• Partner with studio heads and operational leads on commercial and financial matters.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong audit background.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Group Finance Manager with full ownership of the function.
• Demonstrated ability to run month‑end close and produce consolidated accounts across multiple entities.
• Experience leading and developing a finance team.
• Deep technical knowledge of statutory accounts, group consolidation and audit management.
