Financial Controller – Finance Leader for Rapid Growth

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Financial Controller to lead our finance function as we scale from £20 million to £70 million in annual bar soap production. Based in Glasgow with flexible remote Fridays, you will join the leadership team to drive financial excellence and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement robust financial controls and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Support investment decisions and shape long‑term financial strategy.
• Manage risk, safeguard profitability and enable sustainable growth.
• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to drive performance.

Required profile

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with solid experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of leading finance teams.
• Experience in contract manufacturing is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
