Financial Controller – FMCG (Hybrid, London)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a well‑known FMCG business in London. The role is hybrid and offers a competitive salary package with bonus. You will lead the management accounting function and oversee the full spectrum of financial reporting and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver monthly Group accounts, including balance sheet and cash flow statements.
- Own the year‑end process, external audit coordination, tax matters and statutory accounts production.
- Manage month‑end reporting to the Board and Executive Team.
- Oversee the management accounts team, cost reporting, monthly reviews with budget holders and the budgeting/forecasting cycle.
- Develop and improve systems, processes and internal controls.
- Manage relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Oversee taxation and VAT matters.
Required profile
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
- Strong background in financial control, preferably within the FMCG sector.
