Financial Controller – FP&A (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Financial Controller with strong FP&A experience to join a fast‑paced, multi‑site hospitality business in Central London. The role blends financial control with strategic analysis and business partnering, supporting senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting and planning cycle.
• Produce accurate group consolidations and monthly management reporting.
• Deliver meaningful financial analysis, including variance analysis and commercial insights.
• Develop forecasting models and reporting tools to improve business performance.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Partner with operational and commercial teams to support decision‑making and drive performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager with significant FP&A responsibilities.
• Strong experience producing group consolidations.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and provide commercial insights.
• Experience using financial systems and reporting tools to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Background in a multi‑site environment, ideally within hospitality, retail or another consumer‑facing sector.
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
