Financial Controller – French Speaking (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are seeking a French‑speaking Financial Controller to join the international finance team of a leading blue‑chip household brand. Based in South West London with a hybrid working model, you will own the financial control function for the French entity, providing insight and ensuring compliance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process.
• Prepare statutory reports and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities.
• Act as a finance partner to local and regional business stakeholders.
• Maintain strong internal controls and drive continuous process improvement.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and internal finance teams.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven financial control experience in a complex or multinational environment.
• Solid knowledge of statutory reporting and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
