Financial Controller – International Hospitality (Netherlands)

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to lead the finance function for our Netherlands operations within a growing hospitality group. The role offers broad responsibility across accounting, reporting, tax compliance and close partnership with business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the Netherlands entities’ financial operations, including accounting, month‑end close and statutory reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements and deliver insightful monthly management accounts.
• Partner with Operations, HR and other non‑finance teams to provide financial analysis and support decision‑making.
• Collaborate with the FP&A team on budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning.
• Ensure VAT and local tax compliance and manage the year‑end audit process with external accountants.
• Act as the primary contact for external auditors and support payroll processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing international entities, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, VAT, payroll and audit procedures.
• Commercial mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Ambition to grow into a leadership role as the finance function expands.
