Financial Controller

About the role

Vistry North Midlands is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join its Castle Donington office. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead weekly, monthly and annual financial reporting, forecasting and the finance team, while working closely with other departments to provide accurate information to the local Board and Division.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial forecasts, site project reviews and cash‑flow reports.
• Manage joint‑venture financial reporting, board papers and cash‑flow statements.
• Produce weekly flash reports, monthly actuals and forecasting packs for senior review.
• Ensure regional finance and accounting activities comply with recognised standards and group requirements.
• Maintain data integrity in COINS and Anaplan systems and optimise transaction processing.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification with extensive post‑qualification experience.
• Proven ability to produce concise management information and challenge existing processes.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communication at all organisational levels.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with COINS accounting system.
• Working knowledge of Anaplan reporting system.
