Financial Controller

About the role

We are a fast‑growing insurance platform looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our London finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in financial control, reporting, regulatory compliance and supporting our rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end financial reporting processes.
• Oversee financial controls, reconciliations and audit management.
• Support regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
• Manage insurance finance operations, including premium and claims accounting.
• Deliver budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Drive process improvement and finance transformation initiatives.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to support business growth.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant from a Big 4 firm.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in senior finance roles.
• Background in insurance, MGA, brokerage or insurance audit.
• Strong technical accounting and regulatory knowledge.
• Commercially minded with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high‑growth environment.
