Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a fast‑growing multi‑site group. This hybrid role offers the chance to act as a true business partner, shaping strategic decisions and driving financial performance across several locations.

Key responsibilities

• Produce monthly board packs, management accounts and KPI dashboards, delivering insightful variance analysis.
• Own rolling cash‑flow forecasts, scenario planning and working‑capital optimisation.
• Lead month‑end close, balance‑sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE and HMRC.
• Mentor and develop the finance team, including offshore support, and partner with operations on pricing and workforce planning.
• Drive automation and reporting improvements using Excel, Power Query and business‑intelligence tools, supporting acquisitions and finance transformation projects.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or finalist) with significant Financial Controller experience.
• Proven experience in a multi‑site business environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
