Financial Controller – SaaS Business

About the role

We are a high‑performing SaaS company located in London’s West End, part of a larger group, seeking a qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA finance professional to join as Financial Controller. You will report directly to the CFO and the business owner.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day finance function.
• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Manage cash flow and produce related reports.
• Handle quarterly VAT returns.
• Assist with the year‑end audit, providing information to auditors.
• Analyse operational costs, gross margins and site profitability.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and preparation of the annual budget with the board.
• Authorise bank payments and set company‑wide authorisation limits.
• Review company‑wide controls and implement new systems.

Required profile

• Strong, hands‑on accounting background gained in practice or within an SME.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience.
• ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and FRS 102.
• Experience with Netsuite is desirable.
