Financial Controlling Expert

About the role

The Financial Controlling Expert will lead the financial control process for Global Intermediate Products, Global Platform Operations, Global Process Operations and the HO & Operational Excellence scopes within AXA Group Operations. Reporting to the GSO management, you will provide clear, consistent financial insights that support strategic decisions, minimize risk and optimise the value of GSO activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full Plan‑Budget‑Results cycle for the assigned business units.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial figures across all covered units and publish them for executive decision‑making.
• Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
• Support transformation projects with complex funding structures, coordinating with multiple AXA legal entities.
• Guarantee compliance with AXA Group Financial standards and internal controls.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in financial controlling, budgeting and reporting.
• Experience in a multinational insurance or financial services environment.
• Ability to analyse large data sets and present findings in a clear manner.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior stakeholders across regions.
• Proactive attitude towards risk mitigation and value optimisation.
