About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a First Aid and Health Care Administrator to join a secondary school in North East Manchester. The role starts as soon as possible or in September 2026 and involves managing the school’s medical room while providing first aid support to staff and students.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and administer the school medical room, including medication storage and distribution.
- Provide practical first aid to staff and pupils in line with school policy.
- Liaise with staff, parents and carers regarding student medical and first aid needs.
- Maintain records of accidents, near‑misses, food allergies, medical care plans and coordinate visits by external medical personnel.
Required profile
- Current Level 3 First Aid certification (minimum).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check with online update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Two professional references.
Required skills
What we offer
- Temporary full‑time contract (8:15 am – 3:30 pm).
- Daily rate of £100‑£115.
