Fitness Manager (Part‑time) – Bridgwater

About the role

The Gym Group is looking for a Fitness Manager to support the General Manager in running its Bridgwater gym. This part‑time, flexible‑contract position involves leading the fitness team, engaging members and upholding the company’s inclusive culture.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in day‑to‑day gym operations and act as deputy when required.
• Drive member engagement by overseeing the in‑gym service offering and improving satisfaction scores.
• Lead, coach and motivate a team of fitness trainers, ensuring high performance and adherence to company values.
• Model The Gym Group’s values and promote a welcoming, inclusive environment for members and staff.

Required profile

• Passion for fitness and a strong desire to support members and colleagues.
• Ability to embody and promote the company’s values.
• Experience in leading or managing a fitness‑focused team is desirable.
