Flexible Primary Supply Teacher (Gateshead)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic primary supply teachers to work across a range of welcoming schools in Gateshead. The role offers flexibility, allowing you to teach without the burden of lesson planning, meetings, or extensive paperwork, while still delivering high‑quality instruction.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classes.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Build constructive relationships with pupils and school staff.
• Provide short‑term or daily cover during term‑time, typically 8:30 am–3:30 pm.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Recent primary teaching experience in a UK school.
• Availability to work at least three days per week, with the possibility of full‑time.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to varying school needs.
