Floor Staff – Pub Service Role

About the role

Join the team at The Imperial pub in Exeter as a Floor Staff member. You will work in a lively hospitality environment, serving food and drinks while ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Take orders and serve food and beverages to the correct specification, either at the bar or via the customer app.
• Deliver food to tables, complete check‑backs, and clear plates within required timeframes.
• Provide friendly customer interactions, greet guests, thank them, and build rapport.
• Maintain cleanliness standards, including clearing tables, wiping surfaces, and performing toilet checks.
• Assist with glass‑washing, restocking fridges, floor and beer‑garden clearing, and other duties as needed.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and team‑oriented with a positive attitude.
• Calm under pressure and able to work flexible shift patterns, including mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.
• Willingness to learn on the job; no prior experience required.
