Food & Beverage Assistant – Healthcare

About the role

As a Food & Beverage Assistant you will help create a warm and welcoming dining experience for residents, families and visitors in a care home setting. You will work closely with hospitality and kitchen teams to ensure meals and refreshments are served to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Serve meals and refreshments to residents and visitors.
• Prepare and maintain clean, comfortable dining areas.
• Assist with basic kitchen duties and support food service operations.
• Collaborate with hospitality and kitchen staff to deliver seamless service.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Experience in hospitality, catering or customer‑service environments.
• Friendly, caring and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of food hygiene and health‑and‑safety practices.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
