About the role

Join the professional Food & Beverage team at Thornbury Castle, a beautifully restored Tudor castle offering 5‑star experiences. As a Food & Beverage Assistant you will greet guests, take orders, and deliver exceptional service across breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, take orders and serve food and drinks with a focus on hospitality.
• Provide menu and drink recommendations, taking note of dietary requirements and allergies.
• Set up and maintain dining areas, process charges and handle payments.
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Food Safety standards at all times.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers, and resolve guest queries or complaints calmly.

Required profile

• Eligible to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
• Team‑player with strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work unsupervised, take initiative and handle evening and weekend shifts.
• Willingness to learn and progress within a high‑standard environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures.
