Food Runner / Server Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Food Runner / Server Assistant to join our Covent Garden restaurant. You will act as the vital link between the kitchen and the dining room, ensuring dishes reach guests quickly, look perfect, and enhance the overall dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver plates promptly and safely from kitchen to tables.
• Support waitstaff with table setup, turnover and guest requests.
• Maintain clear communication with the kitchen to keep service flow smooth.
• Anticipate the needs of guests and colleagues to ensure seamless dining operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a fast‑paced, high‑quality restaurant environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Sense of urgency, attention to detail and ability to carry multiple plates.
• Willingness to learn, grow and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Friendly, team‑focused personality with a positive approach to challenges.
