Forklift Driver – Production & Warehouse

About the role

Our client seeks a reliable Forklift Driver to ensure safe, efficient movement of materials, equipment, and production assets within a busy creative production environment. You will work closely with production, warehouse, workshop, and project teams to keep projects on schedule from build to installation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move and position production materials and equipment.
• Handle large, delicate, and high‑value scenic elements, props and structures with care.
• Support warehouse, workshop and production teams with material logistics.
• Load and unload vehicles, securing items to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate stock location awareness and support organised warehouse operations.
• Perform daily forklift checks and report any defects or hazards promptly.
• Follow UK Health & Safety, manual handling and site operating procedures.
• Keep work areas clear, organised and safe, especially in busy production settings.
• Assist project teams with time‑critical movements during dispatch and installation phases.

Required profile

• Safety‑focused, practical and highly organised.
• Excellent awareness of surroundings and ability to stay calm in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physically capable of working in a busy workshop/warehouse.
• Reliable, team‑oriented and willing to support broader production needs.

Required skills

• Valid UK‑recognised forklift licence/certification.
