FP&A Manager

About the role

The FP&A Manager will lead financial planning, analysis and reporting for a technology and telecoms organisation based in Bristol. You will provide actionable cash‑forecasting insights and support strategic decision‑making across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cash forecasting and annual planning across a complex, multi‑business‑unit matrix, delivering robust forecasts aligned to strategic priorities.
• Drive quarter‑end cash performance by coordinating finance and operational stakeholders, monitoring delivery against forecast and strengthening accountability.
• Enhance cash forecasting capability and accuracy by increasing understanding of key cash drivers and embedding a cash‑focused culture.
• Improve efficiency and insight through systems‑enabled standardisation, data integration and adoption of predictive analytics and AI, working with Finance Systems and Transformation teams.
• Act as a trusted adviser on cash and working capital matters, providing commercial challenge, strategic insight and decision support to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Strong educational background in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience in the technology and telecoms sector is a plus.
