Freelance PR Consultant – Consumer Health & Wellness

About the role

We are a newly launched UK‑based platform that helps people reduce alcohol consumption through a personalised, stigma‑free approach. We are seeking a freelance PR consultant to design and execute a national awareness campaign that highlights our mission and unique methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and launch a UK‑focused consumer PR campaign ahead of the September/October product launch.
• Secure high‑impact coverage in national, lifestyle, health and wellness media outlets.
• Craft compelling messaging and media materials that clearly differentiate the brand.
• Provide strategic advice on media narrative, brand positioning and awareness‑building tactics.
• Act as the primary media liaison, pitching stories and nurturing journalist relationships.

Required profile

• Strong UK media contacts across consumer health, wellness, lifestyle and national press.
• Experience working with early‑stage or startup health and wellness brands.
• Proven ability to create messaging that resonates with both media and consumers.
• Proactive, results‑driven attitude capable of delivering impact within a short timeframe.
• Comfortable collaborating directly with founders in a fast‑moving startup environment.

What we offer
