Freelance Senior Account Manager (B2B Marketing)

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Senior Account Manager to support a leading B2B marketing agency during a busy period. The role is based in London with a hybrid schedule (1‑2 days in‑office) and starts immediately on a one‑month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for multiple B2B client accounts.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and workflows to ensure on‑time, high‑quality campaign delivery.
• Coordinate internal strategy, creative, content and delivery teams.
• Lead client communications, meetings and status updates.
• Support integrated marketing campaigns from planning through execution.
• Monitor progress, proactively resolve issues and assist with reporting and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Account Manager within a marketing, communications, creative or integrated agency.
• Strong background working with B2B clients, preferably in regulated sectors such as financial services, insurance, fintech or professional services.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
• Highly organised with strong project‑management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and tight deadlines.
• Available to start at short notice and integrate quickly into an existing team.
