Freelance Senior Account Manager – Sports & Fitness PR

About the role

We are seeking a freelance Senior Account Manager to support a boutique agency that is scaling rapidly. The role focuses on driving high‑profile media coverage for new clients in the sports and fitness sector, working primarily from London with a hybrid arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR strategies to secure Tier‑one coverage in business, finance and technology trade press.
• Build and maintain strong media relationships, pitching stories and arranging interviews.
• Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling pitches and press materials.
• Monitor media coverage and provide performance reporting to clients.

Required profile

• Seasoned publicist with proven experience in sports and fitness PR.
• Ultra‑reliable, calm under pressure and able to juggle several priorities.
• Creative thinker with a track record of raising client profiles quickly.
