French Speaking Business Development Manager – Renewable Energy Events

About the role

We are looking for a French‑speaking Business Development Manager to drive sales for a leading renewable energy exhibition based in Paris. The role is based in London with a hybrid work pattern (four days in the office and a half‑day remote on Fridays) and offers a fast‑track career in international B2B events.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full 360° sales cycle, from prospecting to closing exhibition space and sponsorship packages.
• Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders across Europe, including solar, battery storage, clean infrastructure, utilities, investors and solution providers.
• Prepare and deliver tailored proposals in both French and English.
• Maintain and update the sales pipeline using Salesforce and other CRM tools.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, operations and conference teams to maximise commercial performance.

Required profile

• Native French speaker with strong English communication skills.
• 1‑2 years of experience in sales, business development, recruitment, events or other client‑facing roles.
• Confident communicator with solid negotiation abilities.
• Goal‑oriented, organised, resilient and proactive.
• Interest in renewable energy or B2B events is a plus.
