French Speaking Junior Auditor

About the role

Thakur‑Chabert Limited is seeking a French‑speaking Junior Auditor to join its London office. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the audit team in delivering high‑quality financial audits for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing financial audits.
• Prepare and review financial reports and statements.
• Analyse financial statements to identify discrepancies and risks.
• Implement audit strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate findings to French‑speaking clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Fluent in French (written and verbal) and proficient in English.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; progress toward ACCA or equivalent is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and industry regulations.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and organisational abilities.
• Experience in audit or financial statement preparation, especially in an international context, is advantageous.

Required skills

• French language proficiency.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with auditing software.
